Fresh sentiments for everyday life

We offer modern greeting cards to celebrate everyday connections and special occasions

Founder Kim Ehrman's maternal grandma (we called her O’Ma) used to say, if you like presents, you'll like thank you notes.

We set out to extend the card-writing habit without the pressure and breathe modern life into cards.

These are not your grandmother's greeting cards. They feature modern design and concise messaging, with ample space to write in.

Connection is the whole point: if a product idea doesn't spark connection, we leave it behind.

We aim to delight with every interaction. From order through unboxing to sending, we want every touch with Lavender Finch to feel lovely.

Origin Story

After the consulting firm she worked for got acquired -- amidst a global pandemic -- Kim pondered the things that make her heart sing.

On the list: hosting dinner parties, singing her heart out at the piano, being on (and, even better, building!) winning teams, and sending encouraging cards to friends, teammates, and family. Combining the last two ideas seemed like the winner.

With a spark of an idea, Kim asked everyone she encountered what they liked -- and didn't -- about connecting through the written word. This is fruit of this combined effort, and we hope you'll see yourself in one or more of the collections.
